Take something as simple as student and instructor confirmations. Normally, a live person has to call or email each student and instructor to confirm their attendance, and that they know the appropriate time and location of the class. This involves many hours of leaving voice mail messages and trying to keep track who has and as not been successfully contacted. Classmaker allows you to set email alerts for students and instructors a set number of days before a class. Confirmation links are placed in the email and those results are reported back to you. Only contacts who do not respond to the email alert are "escalated" to a human administrator for action. Our testing has found that over 80% of your students and instructors will confirm by email, cutting the staff time involved accordingly.

Classmaker can best be described as a "back office" management tool, meaning that it is not a product that delivers content to students in "virtual classrooms." Classmaker provides advanced management tools which allow you to plan, implement and maintain your training program in a way that best leverages technology and reduces the number of hands on each task.
